It all begins with an idea.
My idea is to encourage you unleash your inner creative whilst having some fun!
Spend an afternoon/evening/day with friends, family or new friends, creating your very own art to take home. Join me for a guided art session, or a weekly class; even a full on residential, where you will create a picture to be proud of - whatever medium you use or level you’re starting at!
No prior art experience necessary and every opportunity will be offered to encourage you unleash your own creativity!

The itinerary will be similar on both occasions, but, the weekday event is slightly shorter!!! The finer details are still be created but rest assured there will be:
Daily Yoga: suitable for all and totally optional.
Art in many forms: using various mediums, including watercolour, acrylic, inks and charcoal, maybe printing, or whatever else grabs our attention!
Activities will be somewhat dictated by the weather, but always fun!
Food: we will cook and provide delicious, healthy vegetarian food during your stay (all diets catered for .. just let us know). However, you will help create a meal … as a cookery class!

It was quite lovely doing a little bit of yoga with Pip in the morning and feeling energised for the day. Then pottering off to do amazing art with Jayne, finishing with yoga before a delicious dinner. Helen.
PAINTING FOR BEGINNERS using WATERCOLOUR and any mediums you choose!

This class is aimed at folk who are starting from scratch, or are fairly new to watercolours who have a love of painting and want a little more help and support to develop their painting skills in a contemporary style. This is a friendly, supportive art class for all. Bring your watercolour paints, brushes and paper along and be prepared to dive right in! Join a group where everyone matters and you can work at your own pace to create some unique art. Everyone welcome.

PAINTING FOR ALL using ACRYLIC and WATERCOLOUR:
MONDAYS 6pm-8.30pm starting Monday 4th November 2024
This class is aimed at folks who enjoy new arty challenges, in a friendly environment. Working at your own pace you can learn new skills and techniques, have a laugh and create your own portfolio of art in colour. Some weeks we’ll work in watercolour, some in acrylic - or you can choose to simply use one! Bring your own watercolour AND/OR acrylic paints and prepare yourselves for a relaxing evening of art.
We might choose an artist to emulate, a topic to trial or a style to have a stab at … whatever it is, I promise to provide a variety of stimulus to inspire. You’ll bring your very own, unique creativity. Everyone is welcome.

DRAWING with a spot of colour!: TUESDAY 10am-12.30pm starting Tuesday 5th November 2024
A chance to continue developing your drawing skills in pencil, with lots of opportunity to experiment with pen and ink, oil & soft pastels, biro, charcoal, crayons and anything else we fancy! Using a wide range of stimuli we will draw together to create a sketchbook portfolio of art to be proud of! Grab your own pencils, pens and paper, along with a willingness to try something new! Join a group where everyone matters and your creativity can be nurtured in a safe, friendly environment. We’ll be drawing with a variety of tools, using a range of different stimuli. You’ll learn new skills, make new friends and be able to enjoy ‘elevenses’ with yummy cake & coffee too!
PAINTING FOR ALL using WATERCOLOUR: 1.30pm-4pm starting Tuesday 5th November - 2024
This class is aimed at anyone with a love of painting with watercolour who wants new challenges to develop their painting skills in a contemporary style. Using a range of stimuli aimed at developing new skills whilst feeding your individual subject passion, this is a friendly, supportive art class for all. Bring your watercolour paints, brushes and paper along and be prepared to dive right in! Join a group where everyone matters and you can work at your own pace to create some unique art.
